What People's Say About Place

Everything about our visit was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the catfish and grits with the crawfish cream sauce, and it was by far some of the best food I have ever had. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and I added a side of coleslaw that was fresh and delicious. For our appetizer, we chose the crawfish stuffed bread, and it was perfect, very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. We also ordered the parmesan char broiled oysters, and they were absolutely delicious. On top of that, they were shucking oysters fresh right there, just like they do in New Orleans, and I absolutely loved that. One thing I noticed was a sign on the wall for Brennan’s in New Orleans on Royal Street. If there is any affiliation at all, it makes complete sense, because my husband and I have visited Brennan’s many times on different anniversary trips, and the quality and flavor here felt right in line with that level of excellence. Shout out to the pizza guy from Oxford, Mississippi for posting multiple honest reviews about how delicious this place is. We have passed by The Parrish many times and never thought to give it a chance, but after coming across his review, we decided to try it, and I am so glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and down to earth. The restaurant was clean, easy to find, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. We highly recommend this place to our friends, and we will definitely be back. This is not a place you want to miss out on.

Neat place, nice Cajun options. 2 local draft beers. We had the BBQ shrimp and Gumbo. The Gumbo was excellent, super dark roux and full of flavor. The BBQ shrimp, was also good, I'd say 4 of 5. Only beer and wine. Feels expensive for Mississippi.

Amazing food. We had the Amber jack special and it was fantastic. We sat at the bar and Sara was a wonderful server. Can’t wait to go back and save room for the bread pudding. It’s home made.

Service and atmosphere were great! Our server was super attentive and friendly – never let our cups get empty! #Restaurant #Dinner #Service #FriendlyStaff #GreatExperience STUDFED FLOUNDER was expertly prepared, pan-seared in butter, and served with green beans. The cooking was precise, resulting in a flavorful dish that was neither overcooked nor undercooked. And the fresh greens beans add yo a great meal! GUMBO My husband thoroughly enjoyed the gumbo, proclaiming it the best he's ever tasted outside of New Orleans or his mother's kitchen on this side of the Sip. And everywhere we go, if it's on the menu, He tries it so, he would absolutely know! It received an exceptional rating; the okra, shrimp, and sausage were prominent, and it appeared to contain crab as well. CRAWFISH BREAD was excellent, rich in cheese, and generously filled with crawfish. While it contained an excessive amount of cream cheese, it remained highly palatable. The abundance of cream cheese did not detract from its overall quality. CRAB CAKE AND GARLIC MASH were both satisfactory. The stuffed crab was also excellent; crab aficionados will be pleased. Furthermore, the portion size was generous. It significantly surpassed Papadueax in quality. The hushpuppies are freshly made, taste excellent, and are not greasy.. COLESLAW COLESLAW COLESLAW COLESLAW: That's all I can say!!! They mastered this ! Oh, and for you ice junkies!!! They have the good ice . The only thing we didn't get was the bread pudding because they were sold out. We will definitely be returning. I can't believe i didn't know about this place sooner! My whole timeline will know about this!!! Bread pudding the only thing I can say is DO NOT SKIP THIS DESERT

We drove from Corinth to eat here after seeing them reviewed by Big Tae!! The food had the right amount of spice. I ordered the crawfish au gratin bread, new potatoes and corn, and topped it off with the bread pudding. You won’t leave hungry! We will be back. Soon I hope.

I was in town for business. Quick search for lunch spots in the area led me to The Parish and I’m glad I made it. Very unassuming place in a small strip center. Hostess led me to my table and the waitress was right there taking my drink order and making a few suggestions. I had my eye on the shrimp poor boy. Their version is a little different from what I’m used to. Their dressed includes lettuce, mayo, pickles and ketchup. Never had ketchup on my po-boy before. There is no tomato. I decided to go dressed minus the lettuce with potato salad as the side. Meal came out w/in 10 minutes. The sandwich was packed with fried shrimp. No skimping on this. It was very tasty and held up well. As good as the po-boy was the potato salad was the star. It was probably the best potato salad I have had and I have had a lot. Great flavor and potatoes cooked perfectly. All in with drink it was just under $20. There is a small bar area on one side of the restaurant. I didn’t make it over there. Overall, it was a great lunch with very friendly and speedy service. I would for sure come back to try some of the other options.

All around 5/5 food was amazing and the staff is beyond accommodating! This is a restaurant standard. Only thing I didn’t like was the raisins (green things) in the bread pudding. The bread pudding is amazing without that. Crawfish bread is lovely!!!

Busy Valentine's Night Dinner Service, but the food and experience were fantastic! We will definitely be back. The stuffed flounder was delicious
